These programs assist communities by expanding the supply of affordable housing for low to moderate income individuals or families that are first-time homebuyers.  This is accomplished through partnerships with housing developers and contractors.  CARD’s current new construction projects are Drumright and Bristow in Creek County and Tiawah in Rogers County.   All homes are 3 bedroom, 2 bath with 2 car garage and constructed with energy efficiency in mind.  Located in rural development areas, these homes qualify for a USDA home mortgage loan. Approved applicants must attend CARD’s Homebuyer Education class.
