CARD’s VITA Program offers free tax help to low and moderate income people. IRS certified volunteers provide basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to income qualified individuals in our communities.  Taxpayers will be informed about special tax credits for which they may qualify such as Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), Child Tax Credit, and Credit for the Elderly or the Disabled.

EITC is the federal and state income tax credit available to low and moderate income working families and individuals.  Often called the nation’s best, long-term economic stimulus program, Earned Income Tax Credits give working poor and moderate-income families the best boost they need to make rent or mortgage payments, buy needed food, medicine or other essentials, improve their quality of life, and contribute to the economy. 

Those with a total gross household income of $20,000 or less may be eligible to claim the Oklahoma Sales Tax Relief/Credit.
