RX for Oklahoma Tulsa
C.A.R.D. employees Sherri Batch & Gay Schwermer, with the Rx
for Oklahoma Program, are working hard to improve and enhance
the prescription medication assistance program within Tulsa
County. Partnering with O.S.U. Health Care Center has proven
to be a win-win for both parties but most importantly for the
people in need of prescription drug assistance.
Volunteers are essential to this program and during the implementation it has been proven that volunteer recruitment is possible if you: tap into available resources, be innovative and creative, think outside the box, use word-of-mouth, pound the pavement, and most importantly believe in your mission.
